Are you worried about climate change and biodiversity collapse? Do you know anyone who could help us with the IT needed to map all the trees in Wilmslow so we know where to plant more?

Volunteer Required!

Do you want to do something really positive about climate change and biodiversity loss?

Would you be able to help us count trees in Wilmslow so we know where more need to be planted?

Do you have technical skills that could help us log all of the trees in Wilmslow?

Transition Wilmslow’s tree group is going to log all of the trees in the town using Jotform and will link this with data collected in neighbouring communities.

This is an ideal opportunity for a young person to develop real world technical skills in JotForm, Google Sheets & Geolocator and to work with other volunteers using Jotform.

Ideally the volunteer would be able to help us for a period of about 12 months but help for a shorter time from the right applicant would also be appreciated!

This is an excellent opportunity for a school or university student wanting to develop their IT skills and to gain work experience helping a group of volunteers. Knowledge of Jotform, google sheets/ excel & QGIS would be ideal but most important is a willingness to learn these applications. Having access to a laptop and a broadband connection is essential.
