The first of this year’s Transition Wilmslow Walks!

We have been enjoying the lighter evenings and better weather, with the first of our Cheshire East supported Wilmslow Walks for Public Health with our first Brownie Walk of the year with the delightful St Anne’s Brownie Pack. We saw hawthorn in gorgeous blossom, looked at the Moss Rooms and heard about peat cutting, looked at where the Riflemen used to do their target practice before going to the Crimean Wars, and marvelled at the ancient tree trunks exposed in the peat….and heard the story of the discovery of Lindow Man. The children really appreciated the magic of this special place.
