So pleased to see this “weed garden” is a prize winner at the @the_rhs @rhstatton_showteam show this weekend. Shows some weeds are the pollinators best friend, we have to stop spraying them and learn they are our friends too! @wilmslowcommunitymarketgarden @wilmslowinbloom
Busy little friend on the allotment on a plant that is on a blacklist under the “weeds act 1959” but the bees and insects love it!
We are always told that we shouldn’t let plants grow around the base of fruit trees and people mow and spray to get rid of the “weeds”. Lovely to see this lush growth in the orchard at #priorwoodgardensmelrose showing you can let nature flourish and still get lovely fruit! #letnaturethrive @wilmslowinbloom @wilmslowcommunitymarketgarden
